Dr. Preethi Thomas, MD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Rheumatology at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. She provides expert care at both Penn Rheumatology Radnor and the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. Dr. Thomas earned her MBBS from the Medical College Trivandrum, Kerala, India, and completed her internal medicine training including a chief residency in New Jersey before specializing in rheumatology through a fellowship at Drexel University (formerly Hahnemann University Hospital). Her clinical foci are myositis and systemic lupus.
